The property
Braidwater Farm is situated in the Flathead Valley between Glacier Park and Flathead Lake. The property is directly on the main stem of the Flathead River in what is called the braided section. River channels mingle with cottonwood forest, and a spring fed pond sits in a natural amphitheater. A hidden field gives way to river vistas.
A variety of sites are available for weddings and other events. Couples can chose one for their ceremony, and another for cocktails, and yet another for dinner.
We have classified our main sites as the Lawn, the Pond, the Garden, and the River.

the barn
Our barn is a 6000 square foot finished post and beam structure which comprises the guest quarters and the main hall. The hall can be outfitted to hold assemblies of up to 150 in the event of inclement weather. It has housed private weddings, Halloween parties, and campaign fundraisers. It is versatile and altogether fun. In the course of having our many gatherings, we have collected a number of item which we can make available to you:
White Lights
Clear Glass Plates and goblets for 200
Silverplate Forks for 200
Selection of White and colored Tulle, Burlap and Masons Jars
the guest quarters
Our barn also holds our guest quarters which we rent through VRBO.com/175011. We have been hosting since 2008 and have a solid record of five star ratings.
The space is mean to enchant, and is done in the manner of a French hunting lodge. The space is occupies three stories, with open stairwells, and large windows. It is decorated with taxidermy specimens, Tiffany lighting and Belgian tapestry.
The master bedroom is well appointed with a desk area and a walk in closet, while a large loft with a full size futon and separate room with four twin beds amplify the sleeping capacity. We have seen this space used for the bridal party, the in-laws, or for guests from out of town.
